The Hayman Partners team is thrilled to announce the success of this year’s charity cash raffle in support of Pegasus Riding for the Disabled. With the community’s generous involvement, a total of $21,275 was raised to assist Pegasus in their incredible work, providing therapeutic horse-riding programs for people living with disabilities.
The highlight of the event was the raffle draw, hosted via live social media coverage, with a magical twist—the Pegasus ponies watched from their stables as excited guests gathered on the beautiful lawns next to the indoor arena. Brett Hayman had the honour of drawing the 1st, 3rd, and 4th prizes on behalf of the sponsors—ACT Property Inspections, Jamonts Legal, and Country Builders—who generously donated the prize money in support of the fundraising initiative. Calli Fenwick of Signature Strata (sponsor of 2nd prize) was in attendance and drew the 2nd prize winning ticket, further adding to the excitement of the day.
The celebratory atmosphere was evident, with the Pegasus team, led by CEO Matt Watson, expressing heartfelt appreciation in a speech that acknowledged the importance of community support. Jo Kennedy, Pegasus’ Relationship and Events Manager, along with other Pegasus team members, were present to share in the moment and thank everyone involved.
A massive thank you goes out to the Hayman Partners team, who devoted countless hours over the past three months selling tickets to family, friends, and our local community members. Many spent weekends at local markets, shopping centres, and ‘on shift’ in the Curtin courtyard, next to the Hayman Partners office, spreading awareness and generating support for Pegasus.
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and played a part in raising funds for Pegasus. Your contributions directly impact the lives of those who rely on Pegasus’ services, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
This year’s raffle has been a shining example of the power of community coming together to support a worthy cause, and we look forward to continuing this tradition of giving back in the years to come.
Thank you for making a difference!
