There are very – very – few moments that leave our principal Brett Hayman lost for words. But Wednesday was one of those occasions.
On Wednesday morning Brett was named one of Australia’s Top 100 Agents by real estate media platform Real Estate Business. The REB Top 100 Agents ranking is the pre-eminent agent ranking in the country.
Brett came in at number 47 – up a staggering 49 places from last year – based on a range of criteria including number of properties sold and GCI (gross commission income) in 2018.
Last year, Brett and his support team of two – Martin Faux and Emily Antill – secured 142 residential listings across Canberra and sold 109 properties to a combined total of $94.2m.
The team’s average sales price in 2018 was $864,821.
It’s a true ‘champagne’ moment for Brett who’s had a huge eight months establishing his own agency, Hayman Partners, in the Canberra market.
“To be ranked as an REB Top 100 Agent is the standard pro sales agents strive for,” Brett said.
“So to be named in the Top 50 is a truly surreal moment for me.
“My ranking is a reflection of so many things we’re doing right at Hayman Partners – committing to first class partnerships with our clients and the team’s unrivalled passion for, and knowledge of, Canberra and Queanbeyan.
“It sounds like a cliche but I’m honestly nothing without the support of the team that works with me – both in the office and at home.”
He congratulated fellow Canberran Andrew Ligdopoulos, of LJ Hooker Project Marketing, on also making REB’s list of Top 100 Agents.
But he’s not sure how he’ll celebrate.
“I think a quiet wine might be in order,” he laughed.
