Three cheers! We’re finalists for not one, but three REB awards

If you happened to hear some excited shouting coming from the Canberra region on Friday morning, there was good reason.

Curtin-based real estate agency Hayman Partners – just 12 months old but with property experience that dates back to the 1980s – was on Friday named a finalist in not one but THREE categories at the annual REB Real Estate Awards. 

The awards are managed by real estate industry media platform Real Estate Business (REB) and recognise the best of the best in real estate sales and property management nationally. 

Hayman Partners Principal, Managing Director and Licensee Brett Hayman is up for Principal of the Year (Metropolitan), while at an agency level, Hayman Partners is up for Property Management Business of the Year (7 or more property managers).

To top it off, the agency could also bring home Sales Office of the Year (Metropolitan), a phenomenal feat considering the competition in the nation’s much bigger capital cities.

Brett Hayman said the REB announcement was the icing on the cake on what had been an “unbelievable” first 12 months in business for Hayman Partners.

“It’s been a mammoth year,” Brett said. “Being named a finalist in three REB categories is really a tribute to the staff and to everyone else who’s been on the journey with us.”

Hayman Partners listed 305 properties for sale and secured 344 tenancies in its first year of business.

Brett said almost every detail of the agency’s operations – from its business structure and brand to its culture, and approach to technology and innovation – was setting Hayman Partners apart from agencies in the capital, as well as right across the nation.

“The REB judges recognise that what we’re doing here in Canberra is actually industry-leading at a national level,” Brett said.

“I’m beyond proud of the staff we have at Hayman Partners.

“To put Canberra in the spotlight by having the opportunity to bring home any one of these prestigious awards is an honour.”

The REB awards are the most coveted awards for Australia’s agents, networks, innovators, leaders and property managers.
